Thursday night Aug 19th, during the spring flood, the prototype of Hydra Tidal's tidal power plant was launched into the sea. The launch went smoothly and according to plan.
The prototype, Morild II, is now located at the quay where the last part of the installation will be completed. After the last rounds of testing has finished, Morild II will be towed to Gimsøystraumen in Lofoten where it's planned to be anchored by the beginning of September.
